OSBORNE PUNCHES

Osborne No. 155Six tube punch made with tubes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 0, 1, 2, 3, 5 & 7. This punch

is known as the best Revolving Punch made. The frame is made of forged

steel, highly polished. Cutting tubes are turned from special carbon tool steel

and threaded to allow easy replacement. These tubes are individually

hardened. The reach or distance from the cutting tube to the back of jaw is

1 1/2". Weight each is 14 oz. Size 0 to 7 provided unless specified otherwise.

Osborne No. 153Forged steel frame. Highly polished. Fitted with replaceable screw tubes.

The reach or distance from the cutting tube to the back of jaw is 1 1/2". Made

in sizes 000 to 10. Weight each 14 oz.

OSBORNE PUNCHES

Osborne No. 223A fine quality pressed frame revolving punch with drive tubes. All tubes are

heat treated to give long wear. Furnished with tubes sizes: 0 (5/64"),

1 (3/32"), 2 (7/64"), 3 (1/8"), 4 (5/32") & 6 (3/16"). Packaged on hang up blister

packed board 11" x 4".

REVOLVING PUNCH - Nickel plated

SPRING PUNCH - Nickel plated Osborne No. 220A sturdy pressed steel punch with replaceable drive tubes. Non-removable

anvil. Frame furnished with size 0 tube or size 00 tube.

Osborne No. 248A sturdy pressed steel punch with easily replaceable tubes. Compact,

ruggedly constructed. Fits any hand comfortably.

SPRING PUNCH - Nickel plated

Osborne No. 222-GAn improved, easy to work 2-way spacing gauge for lacing holes. Fits frames

of Osborne Nos. 203, 204, 220, 223 and 257.

TWO WAY GAUGE

Osborne No. 203A multi-purpose punch consisting of an Osborne No. 220 Spring punch and the

following attachments: Two way spacing gauge, brass anvil, tubes size 1 and

OSBORNE ARCH PUNCHES

Osborne No. 149Osborne arch punches are drop forged in one piece from the finest special

carbon steel in sizes from 3/16" to 2 1/4" diameter. Larger sizes are made with

our properly engineered two piece welded construction. A unique feature of

the Osborne arch punch is the inside taper which permits the punchings to

clear easily through the barrel. Punches have fully polished barrel and black

enamel handle.

The cutting edge is fully hardened all the way through and properly finished to

provide long use trouble free punching. There is no other Hollow Punch that

can compare.

These punches should be used on a wood or plastic cutting block or the Osborne No. #603 Cutting pad. The use of a wooden orrawhide mallet is recommended. Steel hammers are not recommended.

Choose the setter with a hole diameter slightly larger than the rivet being set.Sizes for #170 correspond with popular 8, 9 and 10 copper rivets. For othersize rivets, use table below to determine proper size of #169 Rivet Setter.Push the rivet through the hole then turn the material over. Place burr onrivet, then use the rivet setting tool's straight hole to drive the burr down tightagainst the material. Cut the rivet off close to the burr with side or endnippers. Do not cut off flush with the burr, but leave about 1/16 of an inchabove the burr. The hole on the side of the rivet setter can be used todislodge any waste that is wedged into the tool. Place the concave recessof setter on the burr. Hold perpendicular and strike the tool forcefully, turningto the left then right as you strike. This spreads the end of the rivet over theburr, simultaneously rounding its end. A few extra blows from the soft facedmallet can be used to flatten the rivet end a bit, if desired.
