• Wanted to make sure our employees have the resources to serve our residents adequately.

• Wanted to figure out if our residents are happy in their environment.

• I did not have a huge turnout in people who responded. Because of this, we have to take the data lightly. If more people would of participated we could of possibly had different results.

Results:• When asked if this was the first Assisted Living Residents have ever lived

in, the answers were as followed:

• 56% of the residents said yes it is the only facility they have ever lived in.

* I personally found it interesting learning about all the residents’ career’s in their prior life.

2. Are you pleased with the facility?•The median answer for this question was 7.51 out of 10•This is a great turn out, it shows the facility is a likable, and has great attributes.

3. Have you ever voiced a concern or issue?•44% of the residents surveyed, said yes they have.

•Of the residents who responded, the answer most often to WHOM was the Resident Director.

•50% of the residents stated their grievance was answered in a timely manner.

4.Have you ever contacted the Corporate Complaint Line?•Out of the 39 Residents who chose to participate in the survey, only .06% of residents said yes they had.

•What was found interesting was that, 90% of the residents responded yes they have the number to call.

5. Rate the Average Breakfast 1-10• Breakfast was the highest of the three meals. Residents reported they felt they had options, the quantity was sufficient, the taste was great, and the presentation was neat.

• It was rated 6.83 out of 10

• This seems to be favorable to them because they know what to expect. With the other meals it seems they are questioning what it will be.

•6.38 was the median answer for lunch satisfaction.

•Options was rated high, as well as taste and presentation. Although the answers do not reflect what was found in quantity, many residents disclosed that they feel there is not enough food to keep them full.

7. Rate the Average Dinner 1-10• The results of this question was 6.28%

• Once again, presentation, taste, and options were all rated favorably.

• Quantity was what they complained of the most.

• One resident said, “This is enough food for a woman, but not for a man. A lot of times, I will give my leftovers to the man sitting across the table from me, because he is still hungry.”

8. Would you be willing to pay more for higher quality of food?•There were only two residents who said they would do it. The average for this answer was .08%

•When originally coming up with questions for this survey, we knew food would be what they rate the lowest. We wanted to try and see if an increase in rent could offset their disapproval.

9. On average, how many activities do you participate in weekly?•We offered, bingo, shopping outings, fishing, excursions, and a couple other activities.

•The median answer was 2.05%

•We were happy with this response.

•The residents seem to really appreciate their activity director, as I heard many people compliment her.

10. Is there any activities you would like to participate in that are not offered?•Residents listed activates like drag racing, going to the YMCA to participate in water exercise, sewing groups, and also a book club.

•90% said you all do!

•87% said yes

13. Anyone you care to recognize? •The employees, Trina, Christina, Mercy, Teresa, Tatiana, Sharon, Cindy, and Dorian were all mentioned as employees.

14. Do you receive care on time?• 87% of residents responded yes they do.

•Only 13% of residents said they feel there is any concerns addressing medication or other medical issues.

• 92% of residents said they receive their medications on time.

* The nursing staff seems to demonstrate knowledge of job duties, great job!

Is there any questions not asked, we should ask in the following surveys?• What was found from this survey is that quantity is an issue for food.

• That was really the only negative thing. You all are doing a great job here at Cherry Creek. I truly appreciate any feed back on the results. Thank you again, for letting me take some of your time.
