PURPOSE OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW WORKING GROUP
1. Identify inconsistencies within the Constitution and By-laws
2. Identify where changes can improve the governance of ADEA
3. Identify what specific changes need to be made
4. Make recommendations to the Board
MAIN CLAUSE CHANGE/REVIEWS TO DATE
Principle Objects: To more accurately reflect ADEA’s role with
flexibility for the future.

Memberships: Eligibility and allowance for international and expanded
professional acknowledgement memberships Pro rata fees return if required
Issues related to reprimand, suspension, expulsion and appeal:
to ensure process is impartial, equitable and transparent.

Simplification and clarification of members right to call and
notice for meetings.
Clarification to ensure proportional representation of

Reduce risk of potential conflict of interest when voting
