ACR DESIGNATED LUNG CANCER SCREENING CENTER LUNG CANCER SCREENING Compass Medical offers a CT Low Dose Lung Cancer Screening program in our Easton Radiology location. Eligibility into the program requires each patient to meet criteria as per the Medicare National Coverage Determination (NCD) for CT Lung Cancer Screening. SCREENING CRITERIA Who Should be Screened? WHY COME TO COMPASS MEDICAL? Compass Medical Radiology and Imaging offers comprehensive diagnostic imaging services supported through collaboration with Brigham and Women’s Hospital Radiology Department. All exams are read by Brigham and Women’s Board Certified Radiologists. Compass Medical offers ACR accredited CT scans in Easton. Our CT Technologists maintain a current Radiography license with the Massachusetts Radiation Control Program and the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Individuals between the ages of 55-77 History of at least 30 pack years of smoking A current smoker or former smoker who has quit within the past 15 years Patient has not had a Chest CT within past 12 months Patients who do not have symptoms of lung cancer Patients who have participated in counseling that attests to shared decision making prior to the first CT Low Dose Lung Screening Exam.
