This past Board meeting presented a challenge to the future of Cambridge. I sent everyone an email of the meeting and as usual just a few members who were concerned attended. At this meeting, the Board appointed Ed-win Lochner as a (2nd) second Vice President. Ed and Ron Faucher will be working together on the appearance of Cambridge property, (Common and resi-dents) for violations of their particular covenants. Along with the appointment of the 2nd, Vice President, the Board has appointed a Violation Committee; Loretta Vella, Marty Post, Wayne Jorewicz and Gordon Savill. The Violation Committee’s purpose is to review all information on a pending vio-lation and determine if the person did in fact violate the covenants of where he/she lives. This Committee will then have an open meeting for all Cambridge residents to attend. The person, he/she that is ac-cused, has a right to attend and present his or her side of the violation charges.

The Violation Committee will hear both sides, the Association’s and the violator’s, and decide if a violation did take place and if a fine penalty should be issued. If the Violation Committee decides a violation did take place, the Committee will then have the violator notified thru the Association’s Board of Directors and will proceed with litigation to re-solve the problem. On this note, there will be a violation fine hearing on February 28, 2017 at 7PM If you have not been down at the club-house lately you should stop by and use the refurbished new swimming pool. We have also installed new solar panels on the clubhouse roof and along with the propane to have a water tem-perature around 86 degrees. The Board acknowledges and thanks all of the volunteers of Cambridge for their time and efforts that have been spent on the many projects in our com-munity, which in turn helps to save, YOU!, the property owners of Cam-bridge, some of the cost of running this association. Bob Souza, President POOL AREA: The Association has just completed an overhaul of our swimming pool cost-ing thousands of dollars and it looks beautiful. We do not hire pool boys or girls to clean up and straighten chairs. This is your responsibility as a resident and user of the facilities. Please clean up after yourself and your guests. Throw all trash away, pick up droppings off the floor and put all chairs and lounges back where they belong. Thank you.

MEDICAL THERAPY MANAGEMENT

You’ve been taking a couple of medications for the last few years, but with your recent illness and visits to three different doctors, you now have four new drugs to take. They’re taken at different times of day, two you take with a meal, and one doesn’t need to be refilled. At least you don’t think it does. Taking multiple medications can get complicated very quickly, and nuances of drug therapy can slip under the radar. Drugs with undesirable interactions may be inadvertently prescribed, drugs that may no longer be necessary may still be getting refilled, and drugs may not be prescribed at the optimal dose. These problems are more likely to occur if you have more than one chronic condition, switch doctors, see more than one doctor or utilize more than one phar-macy. In response to this challenge, many health care providers and pharmacies now offer something called medication therapy management (MTM). This is a visit with a pharmacist to thoroughly review all of the medications and supplements you take. The goal is to be sure that your drugs are as safe, effective, sim-ple and easy to take, and affordable as possible—and to help you make an active role in managing your medications. Medication therapy management may be worth ex-ploring if you take multiple medications, but particular-ly if you: Feel overwhelmed by what’s in your medicine

cabinet Have trouble remembering what drugs to take and

when Struggle with side effects or worry about your

medications interacting with each other

Would you believe it. Just like I reported in January C-Breeze where a fellow resident’s computer locked up and advised him that he had a serious virus that had to be taken care of immediately. It happened again to a different resident. It re-ally frightened her so she called me and together we correct-ed her potential scam. This one had an audio message along with a screen message. I also heard from one of our residents about people walking around after dark. She, like myself, finds it challenging to see as well as we used to driving at night. She asked that anyone that walks at night to have either a flash light (working one) or those reflective strips on your clothes. I’ve been out walking my dog at night and can see how difficult it could be for us seniors to see anyone without a flash light. Please take care if you must drive or walk in the evening hours. Martin County Sheriff Department is hosting a community BBQ in Hobe Sound, Tuesday March 29th between the hours of 6:00 – 8:00 pm in Youth Park. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and soda is on the menu. I don’t know where Youth Park is but I’ll find out and post it in the club house on one of the bulletin boards. If you wish to attend, please check the bulletin board to make sure nothing has changed. While I'm at it, please be warned that the gypsy thieves are back again. They will do anything to get into your home to take whatever you have laying around or to simply case your place. What to look for: "Hello I'm opening a store in the area

and would like to show you some of the items we will carry. If you let me in and look at what I have in my case I will give you this free (whatever..flag, rug)". Don't do it. Or if you see someone in your yard doing unwanted yard work, don't go outside to ask them to stop. That person is trained to get your attention while his partner sneaks inside to do their dirty work. CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY. If you can get a description of their vehicle that would be great but don't put yourself in any danger. Stay safe & scam free
