1. Description

From the check valve HE.9678 are different versions in the hydraulic tools assembled.

2. Tasks to be performed

Before replacing the check valve HE.9678 some restrictions must be follow for the further using

of the “old” valve to make sure that the tool will work under the optimal conditions. All valves

have the same function but the mechanical design is different.

3. Details

From the check valve will be 3 different designs used. All have the same spare part number

HE.9678 and will be introduced by the following:

Valve overview (picture 1)

Rev. A ball type valve (grey) 7 flow holes � no longer available

Rev. B disc type valve (black) 6 flow holes � „limited“applicable

Rev. C ball type valve (black) 8 flow holes � „universal“applicable

The ball valve of Rev.A will be no longer available and the focus will be only on Rev.B and

Rev.C.

Based on our experience the disc valve (Rev.B) and the ball valve (Rev.C) they should be used

in the following tools

1) Pistol-tools (L-version)

Rev. B and C could be used. � HE.9678 + HE.11678

2) Minis (9,6V and L-version)

Only Rev.C should be used! � nur HE.11678

3) Hand-hydraulic tools

Valve will be used only for manual retraction

Only Rev.C should be used! � nur HE.11678

A separate spare part number HE.11678 was inserted to make sure that only the ball valve Rev.C

will be used for the Mini and hand-hydraulic tools

Additional information for the hand-hydraulic tools!!!!

In case of using the new ball valve Rev.C HE.11678, additionally the release pin must be also

replaced by a shorter version HE.11679 (Picture 2 + 3). The old version of release pin was only

develop for the disc valves and can be used no longer.
