“…do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”
- John 14:37
Our limited human understanding cannot begin to
understand the immense power of God. Instead of
trusting in God, we think we can control every
outcome. Do you want to make God laugh? Tell Him your plans. The next time worry, anxiety or fear
creeps in, thank God for all He has given you and trust
He has a better plan for you.

We will gather in the church at 3pm for a short talk by Father Moen on indulgences, what they are and how to
obtain one. We will then walk to the Cathedral where we will pass through the Holy Door to gain an
indulgence. There we will say a Chaplet of Divine Mercy and have a time of Adoration in front of the Blessed
Sacrament. Afterwards, we will have a time of fellowship and a light snack in the Cathedral Social Hall
downstairs. For those that may find it difficult to walk the mile to the Cathedral, or in the case of inclement
weather, please feel free to drive or make arrangements for a ride to meet the walking pilgrims at the
Cathedral. We anticipate it will take about 30 minutes to comfortably walk from Holy Spirit to St. Mary's.

What is an annulment?
The Catholic Church presumes all marriages to be valid.
However, this presumption can be overturned if there is
sufficient evidence that one or more of the essential elements of
Marriage were absent from the time of the wedding or that one
or both of the parties were incapable of giving consent. An
annulment allows a person to marry in the Church, or to have a
later civil marriage recognized by the Church. An annulment is
only granted if the Judges have moral certitude that no valid
marriage existed. Contact the Tribunal at 701-356-7940 if you
have any questions or would like to look into an annulment.
