The Mountain West OSHA Training and Outreach Center is a consortium between the University of Utah’s Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health and the Uintah Basin Applied Technology College. The consortium received OSHA Training Center status in December 2002 and is one of two official Training Centers serving Region VIII.

IADC’s Rig Pass® program is an accreditation system delivering a standardized safety orientation program for new employees, preparing the employees for almost any operating environment, at almost any site onshore.

MEDIC First Aid training programs are nationally approved and are recognized endorsed or accepted by many state regulatory agencies. Additionally, MEDIC First Aid programs have been found acceptable for meeting the requirements established by a wide variety of accreditation organizations, professional associations, and councils.

PEC provides standardized safety and skills training to the oil and gas contractor workforce and online standardized forms for reporting safety information from Contractor to Operator. The PEC Basic Orientation and Core Compliance programs, which are accredited by both SafeLandUSA and SafeGulf, are required or accepted by most major and independent oil and gas operators in the Gulf of Mexico and on land in the United States.

The WellCAP program is based on the principle that proper training, emphasizing the knowledge and practical skills critical to successful well control, produces competent rig crews. Using quality benchmarks developed together with operators, drilling contractors, professional trainers and well control specialists, WellCAP ensures that well control training schools adhere to a core curriculum developed by industry.

The IVES Training System™ will help you to ensure that your company’s mobile equipment operator training meets or exceeds all applicable industry standards and government regulations in certifying/qualifying your operators of forklifts, aerial lifts, loaders, excavators and mobile cranes.
