DAY 1- LESSON PRESENTATION Present lesson. Print, color, cutout activity page included and make the puppets. Conclude each activity with your testimony. PHRASE/WORD RECOGNITION (REPEAT DAILY) Young children – “obey” Older children – “I will obey.” DAY 2 - ART ACTIVITY Obedience exercise while making crayon resist! You will need crayons, watercolors and paper before starting this project. Let your child know that this is an art project where he will need to obey your instructions to create a beautiful picture. Ask your child to pick up a pastel crayon, specify the color, and start drawing a picture or just scribble. Ask him to put the crayon away and pick up another pastel crayon and continue using crayons. Do this two of three more times. When finished, ask your child to put the crayons away. Now ask your child to put some water into a cup (for the watercolor paints) and bring it to the table. Ask your child to pick a dark-colored paint and start painting at the top of the paper. Ask him to clean his brush and pick another dark color to continue painting. Help him cover all the paper. The light crayon will show through the dark paint. Point out to your child that he did a great job of obeying and following the instructions. Explain how obedience to parents and commandments makes life as beautiful as the picture you just created! DAY 2 - ART ACTIVITY

Obedience exercise while making crayon resist!

You will need crayons, watercolors and paper before starting this project. Let your child know that this is an art project where he will need to obey your instructions to create a beautiful picture. Ask your child to pick up a pastel crayon, specify the color, and start drawing a picture or just scribble.
