There are 1st downs 2nd downs 3rd downs and 4th downs

You have 4 downs to get a first down If you do not get a first down you have to

punt on fourth down

The Football

The football is normally brown The football has 8 lines for a quarter back

so he can through a pass

Offense

The offense caries the ball down the field The offense tries to get by the defense

The defense wants to stop the offence The defense of linemen can get past the

offense of linemen and make a sack on the quarter back

Touchdown

A touchdown is when you go all the way down the field and put the ball in the in zone some way

When you get a touchdown you get 7 points if you get the extra point

Field Goal

A field goal is for a fourth down across the 50 yard line

It is for an extra point after you score a touchdown

You kick a field goal
