The believer’s authority comes from knowing what is rightfully yours and going all out for it without fear, resentment or intimidation. As an example when you see two children arguing over a toy; it is easy to tell who the rightful owner is. The real owner will not keep shut. Whilst still holding unto the toy he will cry, scream and keep screaming for his toy till he takes possession. The imposter on the other hand will be timid with a lesser aggression. Knowing that God has given to us all that pertains to life and godliness we must not keep shut. God promises for us is a Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though

he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye

through his poverty might be rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Christ gave up His right for us, so we should grab that right and never give it up to the devil. In the example above, the little child won’t give up his toy because he knows who it belongs to. He knows he is the rightful owner. He knows so because Mommy bought it for him and told him “this toy is yours”. So also we must not give up our inheritance and rights in Christ because it is fully paid for.

Isaiah 51:1-3 - “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteous-

ness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are

hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look

unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I

called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. For the

LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places;

and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like

the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein,

thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.”

Galatians 3:13-14

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made

a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth

on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the

Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the

promise of the Spirit through faith.”

The Christian experience should be one of blessings and not curses. The blessings of God unto our father Abraham have also become ours. The notion that as Christians we should be poor should be discarded. It is a lie from the pit of hell. The fact that a thing is abused doesn’t mean that it should not be used, the fact that there are prosperity preachers out there that are faking it doesn’t nullify the essence of kingdom prosperity and the fact that there are things going wrong in the church does not mean that our right in Christ should not be grabbed by us. WHAT ARE THE GATEWAYS TO FINANCIAL

DOMINION?

The Covenant God has a covenant with believers, which is one he created so that you and I could enter into financial dominion. The covenant is Gods plan/instrument to bail us out from all forms of

economic hardship. Malachi 3:10 - “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that

there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith,

saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of

heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be

room enough to receive it.”

I have being a tithe payer for many years now and I am glad to say God is yet to fail me once. I started way back in my college days when my dad will give me money for feeding, I will sow a tithe into the kingdom and throughout my college years God never failed me because His covenant never fails. Malachi 3:17

“And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day

when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man

spareth his own son that serveth him.”

Economic holocaust or not God said in His word that covenant practitioners will be spared; hence we are empowered for financial dominion on the platform of the covenant. Deuteronomy 8:18 - “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy

God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he

may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as

it is this day.”

This means that there is a power to make wealth and this power is only given to those who seek Him in righteousness and those who fear Him. WHAT IS A COVENANT?

A covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well defined terms and sealed with an oath. The covenant of God is superior to every economic hardship that may be around you. It is your commitment to the practice of Gods covenant that will ensure its fulfillment in your life. This means if you fail, the covenant will also fail. Psalm 33:18-19 - “Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them

that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver

their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.”

As mentioned by Gods servant Bishop David Oyedepo, the world is experiencing one of its worst economic hardships but this is not new. However, the bible assures us that there are a group of people that God is watching over because He has a covenant with them. Psalm 37:18-19 - “The LORD knoweth the days of the upright:

and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be

ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall

be satisfied.”

Every generation of covenant people in History went through times of economic challenges, and we shall be looking at the examples of three of our covenant fathers. God said I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. If we can confirm that these 3 people went through the kind of economic situation going on in the world today then we can confirm that what God said about His word and you is true. Deuteronomy 2:24

“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon:

behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of

Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with

him in battle.”

Whatever God has said he will do it, but there is a fight of faith that we need to fight to see it come to fulfilment. ABRAHAM In the time of Abraham despite the famine Abraham shone. Genesis 12:10 - “And there was a famine in the land: and

Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine

was grievous in the land.”

Genesis 13:2 - “And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver,

and in gold.”

There was famine in the land but Abraham had riches from God and was not affected by the famine. ISAAC In the time of Isaac there was another famine but Isaac still sowed in that land and he reaped bountifully. Genesis 26:1 - “And there was a famine in the land, beside the

first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went

unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.”

Genesis 26:12 - “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received

in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.”

Genesis 26:13-14 - “And the man waxed great, and went

forward, and grew until he became very great: For he had

possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of

servants: and the Philistines envied him.”

JACOB Genesis 42:1-2/7/10

Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said

unto his sons, why do ye look one upon another? And he said,

“Indeed I have heard that there is grain in Egypt; go down to

that place and buy for us there, that we may live and not die.”

Genesis 43:1/11-12 - And the famine was sore in the land.

When there was thick famine in the land Jacob had more than

enough to send his children to buy grain from Egypt. When

Joseph recognized his brothers and asked that their money be

returned, Jacob told his sons to take double the amount and a

gift to Joseph. This tells us that Jacob had more than enough

regardless of the hardship in the land.

Jeremiah 33:20

“Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day,

and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day

and night in their season;”

As long as you wake up in the morning and there is day and when you go to bed its night, then the covenant of God cannot be broken. Also when your bread is not enough to be eaten, then turn it into a seed for your turnaround and God will multiply it in nu-merous folds. In the time of Jesus he was watching the Jews in the temple when they were giving offering and the widow with

“Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.” - Isaiah 8:16

two mites gave it and Jesus qualified her giving as the best. THE REQUIREMENTS TO REMAIN IN GOD’S

COVENANT?

1. Tithing. Malachi 3:10-11 “

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be

meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith

the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven,

and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room

enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your

sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground;

neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the

field, saith the LORD of hosts.”

There are many people that earn good wages but end up never

having enough because a devourer is involved. One thing I

have found out about tithing is that everyone pays it. Either

rightly or wrongly, if you don’t give your tithe to God you end

up giving it to the devil in the form of a devourer.

2. Kingdom Promotion Giving’s.

Whenever the need arises in the house of God and you have

the opportunity to meet that need then go ahead and give as

much as the Lord avails you.

Haggai 1:8 - “Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and

build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be

glorified, saith the LORD”

3. Worship Offering. Mk 12:41-44; Deut 16:16-17 Don’t come to Gods house empty handed. Proverbs 3:9 - “Honour the LORD with thy substance and with

the first fruits of all thine increase”

Offering has no percentage and it has not being mandated but out of your love for God and His kingdom you give freely. Deuteronomy 16:17

“Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing

of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.”

Let your offering be given according to your size. Also teach your children to give so when they are older they will know how to give freely to God.

COVENANT DAY OF BREAKING GENERATIONAL

CURSES

Curses are real but more real are blessings and as a matter of fact blessings cancel out curses. Everywhere the blessing is present curse is absent. This is evident in scriptures. There was a time when the children of Israel were in the wilderness a King called Balak who was the king of Moab; the Moabites had heard about the Israelites and what they were doing to the nations around them and they were gripped by fear. They hired a charm maker called Balaam who was supposed to be a prophet of God but he was a false prophet. As far as Balak was concerned, when Balaam cursed or blessed a man or a people, it came to pass. Balaam stood to curse the children of Israel but rather he blessed them. No man

can curse whom God has blessed. Read Numbers 22, 23 for the full story.

WAYS TO AVOID CURSES 1. Be obedient to the word of God “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when

your obedience is fulfilled.” (2 Corinthians 10:6)

2. Honour the prophet of God that has been placed over you “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the

wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood

and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem;

Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established;

believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” (2 Chronicles 20:20)

Divine Intervention & Financial Favour For 2 months I could not attend church due to my husband constant demand for the only car we have. I noticed every time I wanted to come to church he would always demand he wanted to use the car and I would always give in just for the sake of peace , but I was not happy about the whole situation. I pleaded with him that there are church members that can pick and drop me off he declined, I then resulted to connect via the satellite but I still desired to come and fellowship with others. One day in my frustration I decided to get up at 3am and pray and asked that God provide a second car that will allow me to come and fellowship in person and not always on satellite as I desired to work also in the vineyard of God and He should provide this car debt free. God not only provided the car it was also debt free and a beautiful Land Rover. As if that was not enough I asked God for salary increase and job promotion for my husband. God did it beyond my expectations. Two Sundays ago, I had a total sum of $20 to my name. Before coming to church on that Sunday I had it in mind to buy gas as my fuel gauge was already showing empty for two days. Come Sunday, I refused to give in to fear and embarked on my journey to church, as I was driving down a voice told me" You better buy gas because you will not make it to church and you will be stranded on the highway. I declared out loud "I will make it to church you watch and see". During offering time the same voice said you cannot give that money because you have to go back home. I drown the voice off with thanksgiving in my heart, praising God Almighty for giving me the privilege to give. The Pastor mentioned not to just drop our offering but that we should ask God for a specific blessing. I asked God to multiple my offering as He sees fit and I gave the $20 JOYFULLY KNOWING THAT MY HEAVENLY FATHER WILL TAKE CARE OF THE REST. On Monday I felt a nudge to check my account but ignored the feeling as I hadn't worked for a month, so there was no reason checking my account. That

night as I was about to sleep, I felt that same nudge again to check my account. Reluctantly, I said to myself "you will see that I don't have a dime". In my amazement as I checked my account, I was shocked to see 112 times of what I sowed on Sunday. Last Sunday on getting home my husband that has not talked to me in the house for over 2 months suddenly approached me to apologise for all what he has put me through for the past 11 years of marriage. About four nights ago, as I was having a night devotion with my 6 years old son, he asked me with tears in his eyes that he wants to speak in tongues. This I have been praying discreetly that at his age he will desire the spiritual gifts. Wow I serve an AWESOME God. I am so thankful for God's blessings, mercy and increase in my life and family. To God alone be all the Glory - Abiona O.

Divine Healing

I have been having headache off and on for over two weeks and after a while I decided to obey the scriptures by calling on the Elders of the church. I called the Man of God: Pastor Sunny who upon receiving the request prayed for me and administered healing ministration over me as God directed him. I went to bed that night, slept very well and that headache is gone forever and to God be the glory for what He had done. - Victor I.

Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your heart?

That is, are you BORN AGAIN? If your answer is ‘NO’, or you are not sure, please pray this prayer

with all sincerity and confidence!

Lord Jesus, I come to You today! I am a sinner, I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins.

Cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan, to serve the Living God.

Today, Lord Jesus, I accept You as my Lord, and my Saviour.

Thank You Jesus, for saving me! Now I know, I am born again! I

am now a Child of God!

Please declare this to yourself this week:

As I delight myself greatly in God's commandment,

the financial giant in me shall come alive in 2016

- Ps 112:1-3

As I serve the interests of the kingdom with my

resources this year, I shall spend my days in

prosperity and my years in pleasures - Job 36:11

As I commit to giving to the needy around me this

year, an end shall come to every form of lack and

want in my life - Pro. 28:27

As I engage and become consistent in my tithing this

year, I shall come under an open heaven order of

blessings, that turn me to the envy of the world

- Mal 3:10

As I uphold financial integrity in my financial

dealings, I shall not suffer any downward trend in my

finances again - Zech. 5:4
