The installed valves are forged F304H in-line pressure reduction valve, flow to close, single cage, balanced
through a pilot plug. This allows to have a valve suitable for intermittent service and closed for the most part
of its life. The bonnet is bolted design.
The valves are equipped with VALVITALIA Linear Piston Actuators, Spring Return, Fail close. The accessories
control panel is complete with SMART Positioner and pneumatic booster to achieve a valve opening time of
less than 3 seconds.

The supplied Bypass Stations are
comprised of qty 3 Steam pressure
reduction and steam conditioning
systems.
The first HP Bypass system includes
qty 2 Bypass Valves angle type, size
10" #2500 x #900 BW in A182 F22. The
trim is Extra Low Noise type, complete
with pilot plug.
Downstream the valve seat, directly
mounted into the injection chamber,
there is a double stages silencer to
reduce the noise generated from the
valve trim before the water injection.
The injection chamber is full integrated downstream the valve seat and is provided with a wall mounted desuperheating system made
up of water spray nozzles (variable area, spring type).
The HP Bypass valves are equipped with Valvitalia Pneumatic Double Acting actuators, fail last, sized for a quick opening/closing time
of less than 5 seconds in trip mode.
The second HP Bypass system includes qty 1 Bypass valve angle type, 10x16" #2500 x #600 in A182 F22.
Provided with Low Noise trim and pilot plug, the Bypass valve is designed with integrated double stage silencer and 16” injection
chamber. The desuperheating section, wall mounted on the injection chamber, is provided with variable area-spring assisted water
spray nozzles.
The Valvitalia Pneumatic Double Acting actuator guarantees 5 seconds quick opening/closing time.
The supplied IP Bypass system is made up of qty 2 Bypass Valves angle type 12x14" #600 x #300 BW in A105.
The valve trim is Low noise type and the steam conditioning is realized through the water spray nozzles wall mounted in the integrated
injection chamber (14”).
The valve is provided with Valvitalia Pneumatic Diaphragm actuator, spring return, with fail position “last”.

PROJECT: SALAMANCA GTO POWER PLANT 866 MW

PROJECT: DEAD SEA WORKS POWER STATION - GAS TURBINE 1 (DSWPP-GT1)
A new gas-fired co-generation power plant consisting of a Gas Turbine, Heat Recovery Steam Generator
Boiler and a Steam Turbine. The new Power Plant has a capacity of 220 MWh ton per hour low pressure
steam. The power Plant is located inside the Dead Sea Works industrial site at Sdom.

leakage class V.

and an integrated 16” injection chamber, with probe mounted desuperhater (variable area spring type
nozzles)
The valve is provided with Valvitalia Pneumatic Diaphragm actuator, spring return, with fail position “closed”.

Provided with Extra Low Noise trim and pilot plug, the Bypass valve is designed with integrated double stage
silencer and 40” injection chamber. The desuperheating water spray nozzles are wall mounted on the
injection chamber.
The Valvitalia Pneumatic Diaphragm actuator are designed for a quick closing action of 1 second.
The LP Bypass Stations are made up of 10”x16” 150# angle type valves, in A105, including 16” injection
chamber for steam desuperheating.
A Valvitalia Pneumatic Diaphragm actuator guarantees the quick closing action in 1 second.
