My learning
• First of all I am happy to have you again like a teacher well anyways this years learning was okay I didn’t really have any problems at all and I still have something's memorize so I wont forget and I know we reached our learning goals this years learning was pretty fun
Ultra & infra sound
Ultra sound• A sound higher than 20 hertz• Ex: dolphins bats and Doppler
, animals may use this to warn each other or to communicate
Infra sound• A sound lower than 20 hertz • Ex: Whale, tigers, washing
machine, giraffes, elephants they use this to find food talk to each other and warn each other
Eye• The eye has three cone cells they let ussee color which is red green and blue then we have two types of rods one that allows us to absorb black
and reflects white
Ground and resistance
• Ground a conductor place in the ground for extra electrons can pass through safely
Ex: Lighting rod• Resistance slows down the flow of electrons Ex: Conductors low resistance Insulators high
resistance
Circuits• Electric circuit is the path that electrons can flow
There are 4 parts to a circuit1st switch-turn an off2nd Power source-battery or generator3rd electrical device-what is getting powered4th conductor-material it passes threw
Circuits
Series • Only has one path for
electricity to go through
parallel• Has multiple paths for it to go
through
Transparent Translucent Opaque
• Transparent-to see through an object• Translucent-when you could see through but no
detail• Opaque-when you cant see through an object at
all
Scientific Method• The test to prove a statement • There are six steps involved in this they are:1. Research Question-What you are investigating2. Variables-What you are changing the result of what you changed
and what stays the same3. Hypothesis-An educated guess with an if and then statement4. Procedure-The steps to your experiment5. Graphs-When you make charts 6. Conclusion- Your summary and what did you learn
Simple machines
• Make work easier for us to do1. Incline plane2. Wedges3. Lever 4. Pulley5. Wheel & axle6. Screw
