More About The Great PyramidThe Great Pyramid reached 481 feet tall before. Now it reaches 450 feet because some of the stones on the top are gone now. It is 756 feet long on each of the sides. Some experts say it took twenty years to build. They only worked on it for three months each year. This is the time where the Nile started to flood. This is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that is still standing.

Stones Used On The Great PyramidThere was over 2 million stones that had been used on the Great Pyramid. These stones were limestone. The center of the pyramid was made from yellowish limestone. The interior chamber was built of really big blocks of granite. This pyramid was made with more then 2 million stone blocks as I said before.
