The White House, the home of the President of United States in the country’s capital, Washington D.C.

Setting

This book is about the many pets who have lived in the White House. I think the most unusual was a baby pet badger that was given to President Theodore Roosevelt by a little girl from Kansas.

Some other unusual Presidential Pets were the pair of elephants that were given to President James Buchanan by the King of Siam and the alligator given to President John Quincy Adams by the French Hero, Marquis de Lafayette.

Summary

Today’s Presidential Pet is President Barak Obama’s Portuguese Water Dog named Bo. I think it is good that the Obama family has a dog instead of an alligator, elephants or a badger!

I rate this book WWWW for Wikitastic because it was a great book that had a lot of information about all of the different pets who have been owned by our presidents.
