Pros Make Characters
sing, dance, and move
You can make the character move in order over and over.
Cons Hard when you don’t
have a X-Box controller
Hard to put up glass walls.
Pros Don’t have to re-
program every time.
Anything can talk (even missiles)
Cons Music is not good. Hard to get
character to talk. When speech
bubbles pop up you can’t hear it talk.
Pros Easy to change
settings and add characters.
You can make mountains, hills, and valleys.
You can make water rise and fall causing a ocean or river.
Cons Hard to put up glass
walls. Sometimes you have
to go into more then 1 setting
We think Kodu was easy we could always program the game how we wanted it to. All the characters are cool and easy to move and make them talk. But I also think that kodu was harder that we thought it would be.
Kodu is very educational. You can learn a lot about physics. Kodu is not only educational but also a fun hobby. Also, a great way to entertain yourself.
We strongly believe that Kodu should be used in classrooms in the future. Kodu is very educational and fun. Students can learn about creating video
games. Students can play the games, not only make
them. Kodu is an easy way for students to program a
character to make sounds, move and have a speech bubble at the same time.
Game design can be used in education for: Study reviews and practice Making homework and learning fun Letting kids learning without knowing they
are learning since they are having fun Different ways for students to express
themselves Translating materials in different languages
