What is my community project about?
My community project is going to help someone create nail art on themselves and on their friends. Nail art is a creation on nails which can make them stand out. But first of all there are a few steps to take so that your nails are suitable to start designing on.

File your nails
Filing your nails means they are nice and smooth.
To do this you need a nail file
There is no certain technique to filing your nails you just simply push thee nail file backward and forward across the tip of your nails.
There are two different shapes rounded and squared.

Buffing your nails.
Buffing your nails not only makes your nails healthy. It also brings out the natural oils in your nails to make them look shiny.
To do this you need a nail buffer.
To buff your nails is simple just simply run the buffer along the surface of the nail, pushing on lightly.

Removing your cuticles.
Your cuticles are the extra bit of skin which flows over your nails making them look shorter.
There are a few ways to remove your cuticles you can push them back
Or use cuticle removal solution that you apply over a few weeks.

Applying a base coat.
A base coat is a layer of normally clear or a very light colour nail varnish under your chosen colour and design.
This helps protect the nail from any staining to the nails a normal nail varnish could cause.

Here is were the creativity comes in it is now time to choose the design you want to put on top of your nail varnish.

Step 1Paint the nail a colour of your choice in this example purple
Step 2Create this rain drop shape with your tin brushes for precision and repeat 3 times
Step 3Once the shapes have dried draw the same shape on top in a lighter colour
Step 4Add a spotty pattern around the rain drop shapes

Step 1paint the nail red
Step 2 Once the red has dried paint a quarter of it black
Step 3Using you brush paint a black line down the middle of your nail
Step 4Add spots in the red ¾ and add gems for the eyes

Step 2With your fine brushes create a petal shape
Step three Add a green stem (still using your fine brush)
Step 4 Add a gem to decorate

Once you nails are dry To finish off your nails add a top coat
A top coat is a layer of clear nail varnish on top of your design to prevent the nails from chipping .It also makes the design have a shine
