Davis in the Appalachian Mountains, and west of the lower South Mountain.

Echo LakeEcho Lake is typical of the many scenic lakes found in the Northeast.Echo Lake is named for the way that sound bounces off the surrounding Green Mountains. The water from Echo Lake eventually follows a series of streams and small rivers, eventually flowing into the St. Lawrence River.It is located in Vermonts Northeast Kingdom, east of Lake Champlain and west of the highest peak in the Green Mountains.
