STANDARD KITSCarpentier provides a range of standard designs in smart ready-made kits, from modern to classic, from small to large, and with a flat or gable roof. We produce all parts entirely in our own workshop and based on a smart building system that enables quick assembly and a seamless finish.

Besides pool houses and a pergola, the classic standard kits include mainly carports with space for one to three cars. Standard modern designs can be easily adapted using our Módulo system.

Modern standard kits

We design our modern standard products using the Módulo concept developed by Bjorn Verlinde. This system is based on three basic modular units in uniform sizes, which can be combined in any desired configuration to create a pool house, garden shed, carport, pergola, garden office or any other outbuilding. Módulo units can be arranged next to each other or in a corner formation, and depending on the customer’s needs they can be covered, open, closed, insulated or ventilated … in short, this system makes anything possible.

MADE-TO-MEASURE KITSAs specialists in timber-framed buildings, we can provide not only our standard ready-made kits but also completely made-to-measure kits. Working together with you, we can build on an existing sketch or develop a plan from scratch using our handy app. Moreover, the app enables us to produce a visual representation of the finished outbuilding and estimate the required budget. When necessary we can also call in the services of an external architect. Once the plans are ready, we get to work on a smart construction kit for the outbuilding, whether it is a pool house, carport, garden shed or pergola.

MOBILE UNITSWorking together with leading designers, Carpentier also designs mobile units as aesthetically pleasing alternatives for temporary constructions that are usually dull and unattractive. Mobile units are ideal for a range of purposes such as office space or an information booth, granny annex, covered outdoor bar, relaxation area, holiday home or temporary living space during home renovations. The size of the building, interior finish and window locations are designed to suit the space, orientation and intended use. SPECIALSMathias De Ferm designed our elegant, minimalist lounge concept. Part building and part furniture, this is a beautiful marriage of function and aesthetics. A louvered roof creates a playful balance of light and shadow while also opening up the space and allowing heat to escape. If desired, sides can be completed with horizontal or vertical shutters (see page 16). The entire wooden structure comes in a ready-made kit that a professional can assemble with ease.

LOUVERED ROOFSOur modern pergolas feature a motorised louvered roof. Each project is tailor-made for delivery in a smart ready-made kit. Professional installation of the minimalist louvered roof is easy thanks to the instructions provided with each kit, and it can be perfectly integrated into any existing building or extension. Our louvered roof is also ideal for a modern stand-alone pergola.

The adjustable louvers in HOTwood ash are embedded in aluminium to ensure joints remain watertight.

Outdoor window shuttersCarpentier can provide a range of ingenious solutions for outdoor sun screens. Besides sliding shutters with fixed and adjustable louvers, we offer a range of stylish shutters that fold sideways and upwards. Upward folding shutters can be conveniently integrated into the building façade, making them virtually hidden when closed, and they open out into an awning. All types of outdoor shutters keep summer heat outdoors while creating an intimate space inside the house or wooden outbuilding. Single-day installationWe can create a tailor-made wooden gate in our own workshop and install it on a concrete foundation with the required optional accessories. A selected transport service delivers a complete gate to the customer’s site. All that the professional needs to do at the site is to dig the trench, after which our crane can emplace the prefab gate in a single step. An additional advantage of a prefab gate is that the structure holds itself in place thanks to the foundation.

Cladding is attached to the gates quickly and invisibly using our QuickClip® mounting system.
