Joining Motifs (1) - Slip Stitch Together Knot to Knot

1. Place 2 f inished motif s together,wrong sides f acing each other, and

hold the 2 sets of loops on thelef t, with your lef t hand, and f lick

the 2 motif s open.

2. Slipstitch f rom knot to knotdown the 4 knots, and f asten of f .Add motif s in this manner until you

have the desired length of yourproject.

3. When you turn your work overyou will have a set of loops on

the f ront of the motif s.

Joining Motifs (2) - Crochet

With your choice of yarn and crochet hook, 3 trbl into each looparound the Motif , and when you reach the corners, 3trbl, 3ch, 3 trblinto each corner. When each Motif has been crocheted around, slip

stitch the Motif s together.

Joining Motifs (3) - Butterf ly Braid

1. Take any size Crochet Hook andinsert it into the bottom loop on the

Motif .

2. With Crochet Hook still in thebottom loop, insert Crochet Hookinto the next loop above, loop 2.

3. Pull that loop through the loopalready on your Hook.

4. Insert Crochet Hook into nextloop, loop 3.

5. Pull that loop through the loopalready on your Crochet Hook.

6. Continue in this manner allaround Motif . Secure the last

loop into the next X. Finish of f .

7. Place the f inished motif s side byside, with wrong sides f acing up,

and stitch the motif s together knotto knot, and when you turn themotif s to the right side, a lovely

braid appears. Refer to

Joining Motifs (4) - Butterf ly Twist

1. Lay the motif s on a f lat surf ace,and using any size Crochet Hook,start at one side, (bottom loops)

and put the Crochet Hook throughthe loop on the right hand side andthrough the loop on the lef t hand

side.

2. Pull the loop on the lef t handside through the loop on the right

hand side.

3. Twist the Crochet Hook up andthrough the second set of Loopson the right hand side, and thenthrough the 2nd set of loops onthe lef t hand side, and pull the

lef t hand side loops through theright side loops.

4. Continue in this manneralternating f rom side to side until

you have pulled through each loop,ending with the last loop on yourcrochet hook and f asten it of f to

secure it to the Motif .
