Butterfly Field Trip

Class Field Trip

This great field trip experience begins with a tour in our incredible hands-on Butterfly House. Stu-dents will have the opportunity to interact with over 275 live butterflies, a chance to hold a live butter-fly, and will learn about the special ecosystem we have created to maintain the butterflies. Our inter-active “Jeopardy” will quiz students on how much they know about butterflies, their life cycle, habitat, and ecosystem. In our activity area students will (1) observe first-hand the different stages in the life of a butterfly, (2) experience the “life cycle kiosk” and (3) students will interact with larger than life activities designed to teach about the different body parts of a butterfly and the butterfly life cycle. Each class will receive one butterfly kit to “Watch the Miracle” of the butterfly lifecycle right in your classroom. Additional butterfly kits are available for $8.00 per kit. Please order additional kits when you register.

Classroom Butterfly Set The Classroom Butterfly Set contains 33 caterpillars with supplies and instructions

for each student to hatch their own butterfly. Classroom Sets will be mailed directly to the school.

Sets can be purchased without attending the field trip. Cost: $57.00 plus shipping
