Conclusion

Survey was conducted to study the effect of availability of e-books on the readership of printed books/ hard copies The increasing awareness and availability of technology has impacted the readership for printed books. However each has its own pros and cons. Printed books are still preferred over e-books by most of the people and resistance to change is a major contributing factor. As and when technology becomes more user friendly, more readers would veer towards e-books.
