• Facilitates the implementation of best of breed capabilities to cover emerging and current threats and to provide a sustainable support model for those services

• Establishes a catalogue of approved cryptographic services in support of confidentiality, integrity, digital signature and non-repudiation – inclusive of interoperability standards, algorithms and supporting hardware and software implementations
• Utilises the minimum number of cryptographic (hardware and software) implementations to simplify and reduce the cost of acquisition and operations, which maximizes the ability to quickly adapt to evolving operational scenarios
• Initiates a fully-fledged Key Management System (KMS) with “over-the-air” keying capabilities for specific crypto families
