ONLY in Russia perhaps? If youre ying for your next

business event, it might pay toavoid Siberia, given that earlierthis week in the town of Igarkatemperatures plummeted tominus 50C, causing a TupolevTu-134 aircrafts landing gear tofreeze onto the tarmac of theairport.

    A bizarre enough situation,

especially viewed from this partof the planet, but as the pushbacktractor was unable to budge theaircraft onto the taxiway, thepassengers helped to give it apush.

Once freed from its icy grip, theKatekavia airline ight later tooko and landed safely in the city ofKrasnoyarsk.

Prosecutors are now checkingwhether the airport, the airline, the crew or the passengers brokeany air safety laws.

Its reminiscent (aside from theresultant legal investigation!) ofthe train passengers who helpeda commuter stuck between thetrain and the platform in Perthearlier this year by rocking thetrain to one side.
