What is Entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurs are people who are prepared to sacrifice their own time and effort to turn a good idea into a marketable product or service. They are persistent people who see risks as opportunities, are self motivated, and have the ability to use innovation and imagination to be successful.
If you love shows like Shark Tank and are interested in being your own boss, scheduling your own contracts and managing your own money, you may have what it takes to be an entrepreneur.
Lake Howell High School is home to the district’s Program of Emphasis in Business and Entrepreneurship. Students who participate in the program are introduced to the concept of entrepreneurship while also developing the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to start and operate a business. Students can choose which pathway, entrepreneurship or business, best meets their future goals.
