PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Colombia has quickly become a growing business capital and one of the most important
economies in the LatinSphere, with a creative and innovative spirit that has seen its’ cities
become financial centres for the region.
The largest of these centres is Bogota. The Capital is home to business, government,
cultural events and an ever evolving definition of the national identity. In 2011, Fortune
Magazine ranked Bogotá as one of the top 15 new business cities in the world. The presence
of multinational companies as well as the availability of a skilled workforce, solid
infrastructure and potential customers, has led to Bogotá’s status. Bogotá is strategically
located in the centre of the Americas. It is five hours by plane from New York, Mexico City
and Sao Paulo and has excellent air connectivity, with several daily non-stop flights to all
major cities in the Americas. Due to its location and transport connections, many companies
have chosen Bogotá for their regional headquarters, shared service centres and logistical
hubs to serve all of Latin America.
This program will be an immersion into the business culture of Bogota and Medellin as the
program will also introduce students to the country’s start-up capital — Medellín and students will
visit the national cultural heritage located in Cartagena like touristic activities.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR: 24/7 SUPPORT
Campus offices provides around the clock programing support — including pre-arrival orientation, on-site logistics coordination
and even post-program through evaluation feedbacks. It is our job to ensure the program runs smoothly so students and faculty
leaders can focus on their objective — to explore the academic and cultural interests in our diverse nation.
Upon arrival, students will be welcomed at the airport by a Campus B Coordinator who will be with the group 24/7 (s/he will be
the emergency contact for extra security and support). Our coordinators are local, bilingual Colombians; as such they are familiar
with the cities and well equipped to deal with situations together with our Office — which serves as the home base for all program
coordination — plus the faculty leader(s) and the university’s study abroad office.

PROGRAM INVOLVEMENT
Our primary role is one of facilitator — working alongside faculty and staff to realize the unique learning ambitions and program goals through logistics coordination. We help provide the visiting learner with an expanded view of Latin America through exposing visitors to experiential interactions with local students and culturally immersive activities. Our aim is to immerse visitors, giving them the opportunity to better draw analyses and comparisons between Latin America and home.
PROGRAM INSPIRATION
We work alongside faculty and international education staff as a resource to complement the scope of a proposed program. We use our years of expertise, along with our network, to recommend programming details from interactions with community leaders to the modes of transportation and accommodation. We collaborate on programming in hopes our efforts can complement transformative learning experiences that dive-deeper into the dialogues of Latin America.
PROGRAM SUPPORT
Every program demands detailed coordination and logistic manpower, a reality often left to university staff or the faculty member. We believe these responsibilities to be unnecessary distractions for the faculty, often derailing the programs’ primary objectives. Therefore, Campus B assumes these responsibilities and embraces these details by dedicating our local staff to coordinating the programming logistics. Combined with our experienced Campus Coordinators, we are able to shoulder the programing logistics, allowing you (the faculty + university staff) to focus on the programs’ real objectives.
