Never miss a call on the go! Call Forwarding allows your communications to be seamless whether working at home or on the road.

The following Call Forwarding options allow users to route calls to a desired phone number depending on certain criteria. Call Forward Always – Enables a Business Digital Voice user to redirect all incoming calls to another phone number. Users have the option to activate and deactivate the service by dialing a feature access code or through My Phone. If activated, a user must specify the forwarding number.

1. Caller dials the number to the user's office phone

Call Forward Busy – Redirect calls when your office phone is busy. This service is initially programmed to default to the user’s voicemail. Users have the option to activate and deactivate the service by dialing a feature access code or through My Phone. If activated, a user must preselect a phone number to forward to.

Call Forward No Answer – Redirect calls when an incoming call is not answered within a specified number of rings. This service is initially programmed to default to the Business Digital Voice user’s voicemail. Users have the option to activate and deactivate the service by dialing a feature access code or via My Phone. If activated, a user must preselect a phone number to forward to and set the number of rings.

1. Caller dials the number to the user’s office phone

3. The user’s office phone is busy

4. The call is routed to the preselected phone number

4. If the call is unanswered after a defined number of rings, the call is routed to the preselected phone number

Feature Prerequisites Before any Call Forwarding feature can be used the following conditions must be met:

• At least one Call Forwarding number must be assigned to the user through My Account - My Site; and • When using the Call Forward feature to point calls to an external number, these numbers need to be

entered in My Phone under the My Numbers tab (see the My Numbers Guide for more information).

Feature Setup Administrative Setup To use Call Forwarding, log into My Account, and follow the steps detailed below.

Step 1. Go to My Site and Select a Site

Step 2. Call Forward Always - Select the Call Forward Always button and then choose a user to setup

Step 3. Call Forward Always setup

If Internal, select the forward to number from the drop down box. If External, enter the destination phone number.

Ring Reminder When enabled, the ring reminder will play a brief tone on the Business Digital Voice user’s phone when a call has been forwarded. Select No Reminder to disable the tone.

Set all numbers to this phone number

If selected, all numbers will be forwarded.
