The Adega Cooperativa de Ponte de Lima - ACPL - was founded in 1959.

At its headquarters on Rua Conde de Bertiandos, in Ponte de Lima - the oldest town in Portugal.

The Adega, which represents around 2000 growers, their families and workers, is undoubtedly the most important structure - one might say, the largest company - in Ponte de Lima.

In 1998, the ACPL obtained quality certification to np en iso 9001, from APCER - Portuguese Certification Association.

The ACPL is based in the sub-region of Lima, one of the nine sub-regions of the demarcated region of vinho verde which, due to the natural characteristics of its terroir and the varieties grown, produces wines very different although they share common characteristics: fruity and fresh with medium alcoholic strength.

The wines of the ACPL are produced from perfectly ripe grapes of regional varieties. All the wines of the ACPL are produced with exclusive grapes from associated producers members of the company, ensuring the authenticity of genuine vinho verde.

Among white wines, the Loureiro variety has particular importance due to its magnificient adaptation to terroir of the Lima Valley, making wines highly appreciated for their aroma and for their organoleptic qualities.

ACPL produces also others wines, sparkling wines and old brandy. Our wines have been distinguished in prestigious international competitions and referred in the international specialized magazines.

FELINO was founded in 1936.

We also used to manufacture machines for the foundry and ceramics industries. Currently we are focused in the design and manufacture bakery and pastry machines. Because we have available capacity in our production facilities we also cast and machine technical precision parts according to our customers specifications. This activity for technical parts is oriented for the European markets as the transportation costs for other destinations cause us price dificulties.

For the bakery/pastry business we always look for importers who can provide not only commercial activities but also after sales technical service. Because we not only design our machines but we also make all the parts needed to the final assembly combined with our, longer than 75 years, experience we build high quality machines at very competitive prices. It also due to this that we are the main supplier for the big supermarkets groups in Portugal. They need heavy duty machinery at a cost level which allows them to compete in the bread/cakes markets. Also through our international market we have several machines in Carrefour and Auchan facilities.

It's not by mistake that we offer two years full warranty for all of FELINO machines.
