The Brightest & Best Selection of Winners ProcessThe Brightest & Best Business Awards are given to businesses that demonstrate excellence in their business practice. The judges are looking for businesses who are leaders in their field, creative and innovative and who respond to their customers’ needs and deliver exceptional customer service.
STEP 1 - INITIAL ASSESSMENTEach entry is read and the answer to each question is given a score. So it’s important every question is answered fully. A vivid overview of your business will give the judges a clear idea of what makes it stand out in its field.
Once all the entries are read and scored, the judges make a shortlist of finalists in each business category to be taken through to a second round of judging.
STEP 2 - FINALISTS ANNOUNCEDAll finalists are notified and their selection is announced in the Wentworth Courier.
STEP 3 - FINALISTS’ ASSESSMENTProfessional mystery shoppers will undertake either a site visit, conduct a telephone or on-line assessment to build on the detail in finalist’s entry submissions. Mystery judging scores are then added to the initial assessment scores to determine the winners in each business category. Mystery shopping will take place between 28 August and 25 September.
