Mrs Kindred has worked as a member of our Year 5 teaching staff this year and we wish her well for her future endeavours. Staffing Changes 2016 At the end of 2016 we will also farewell a number of other staff members and I would like to publicly acknowledge their fine efforts in supporting students reach their learning potentials. Miss Joanna Mayne was a student of The Bush School herself and has been teaching 2DJ for the majority of the year, but in 2016 will take on a permanent classroom teaching role at Cammeray Public School. Miss Margot Dempster has provided a lengthy contribution to our school, as a skilful and knowledgeable classroom teacher. She will continue her career closer to home. Mrs Julie Carr is taking a very wellearnt break from classroom teaching in 2016, but we hope to see her return in 2017 and beyond as she is widely regarded as a highly engaging and inspirational educator. Mr Michael McGregor and Mrs Judy Buckle have shared a teaching role this year and will no doubt again be familiar faces around the school in 2016, but not assigned to a class regularly. Farewell Mrs KindredTomorrow we farewell Mrs Susan Kindred who is enteringretirement Mrs Kindred has worked as a member of ourYear 5 teaching staff this year and we wish her well for herfuture endeavours

Staffing Changes 2016At the end of 2016 we will also farewell a number of otherstaff members and I would like to publicly acknowledgetheir fine efforts in supporting students reach theirlearning potentials

Concert Band Goes To The Southern HighlandsBand tour is the most exciting and interesting part of the band program Year five and

sixes in Concert Band went on a tour to perform for schools introducing them to theamazing opportunities that musicality holds

We performed for 6 schools in the Southern Highlands who arenrsquot as fortunate as us anddonrsquot have a well developed band program like us at their school

On the first day we performed for 2 schools Bradbury PS and Robertson PS We stayedthe night at Fitzroy Falls The next day we repeated the process and performed at 3schools Mittagong PS Exeter PS and Bundanoon PS At the end of the day we wentback to Fitzroy Falls On the last day we went to 1 more school Avoca PS and then wereturned to Wahroonga PS

All of the schools enjoyed it and so did we I think we can call that a success

On the first day we performed for 2 schools Bradbury PS and Robertson PS We stayedthe night at Fitzroy Falls The next day we repeated the process and performed at 3schools Mittagong PS Exeter PS and Bundanoon PS At the end of the day we wentback to Fitzroy Falls On the last day we went to 1 more school Avoca PS and then wereturned to Wahroonga PS

All of the schools enjoyed it and so did we I think we can call that a success

We performed for 6 schools in the Southern Highlands who arenrsquot as fortunate as us anddonrsquot have a well developed band program like us at their school

sixes in Concert Band went on a tour to perform for schools introducing them to theamazing opportunities that musicality holds

We performed for 6 schools in the Southern Highlands who arenrsquot as fortunate as us anddonrsquot have a well developed band program like us at their school

On the first day we performed for 2 schools Bradbury PS and Robertson PS We stayedthe night at Fitzroy Falls The next day we repeated the process and performed at 3schools Mittagong PS Exeter PS and Bundanoon PS At the end of the day we wentback to Fitzroy Falls On the last day we went to 1 more school Avoca PS and then wereturned to Wahroonga PS

All of the schools enjoyed it and so did we I think we can call that a success
