Cash RatingsThese are an indication of the security level of a safe and the maximumlevel of money that should be stored inside it. A cash rating is what anunderwriter will insure the contents of the safe for and can be multipliedby 10 times for jewellery. Therefore a £1000 cash rated safe would besuitable to store £10,000 worth of jewellery.

The cash ratings given in this brochure are only a guide and assumecorrect installation. Insurance companies’ ratings vary and higher orlower figures might be applied. If it is important always check with yourinsurance company before purchasing a safe.

InstallationMany safes are best installed by a professional locksmith or safeengineer. However, some of the smaller, domestic safes in thisbrochure are suitable for DIY fixing. If in doubt always consult yourBurton Safes Stockist.

WarrantyBurton products offer a minimum warranty of 2 years in respect ofmaterials and workmanship. Some premium product lines like Proline carrylonger warranties. Please note that the warranty on the locks is limited tothat offered by the lock’s manufacturer.
