THE GAMMON EASY-FUELER™

All four Easy-Fueler™ designs share a solid foundation including: ▪ Blackmer GXS-3 gearbox driven positive displacement pump - no priming problems!

▪ Inlet strainer to protect pump from debris

▪ Electric motor - U.L. listed explosion proof, 3 PH, 208-230/460 VAC, 60 Hz (also 190-380 VAC, 50 Hz at reduced pressure)

▪ Velcon filter separator qualified to 240 gpm, API/IP, 1581, 5th Edition

▪ All tubing and tube fittings are stainless steel

▪ All butterfly and check valves included for one storage tank (multi-tank valve manifolds are available); connector for truck unloading, upturned 45° to minimize spills

SYSTEM ONE: REFUELERS TRUCK LOADING

System One unloads transport trailers by pumping fuel into storage through the filter separator at a rate of 200 gpm. It also recirculates fuel from storage by pumping it through the filter separator and back to storage at 200 gpm. It loads refuelers trucks by pumping fuel through the filter separator and to the truck at 200 gpm. This system includes:

▪ 2x15" API 1529 5th edition aviation hose ▪ Double elbow swivel to allow the hose to swing without kinking ▪ Electric deadman model GTP-1750 with U.L. listed intrinsically safe control ▪ Bottom loading coupler ▪ For options, see next page (Option B recommended)

SYSTEM TWO: OVERWING REFUELING

System Two unloads transport trailers by pumping fuel into storage through the filter separator at a rate of 200 gpm. It also recirculates fuel from storage by pumping it through the filter separator and back to storage at 200 gpm. It refuels aircraft overwing at up to 100 gpm by pumping fuel through the filter separator, meter, hose reel, 1 ½" x 80' API 1529 5th edition aviation hose and into the aircraft through a Gammon SkyHawk nozzle. This system includes:

▪ Motor rewind hose reel with manual crank rewind backup; 3-roller hose guide ▪ Aluminum fuel wetted parts downstream of the filter separator ▪ Meter ▪ For options, see next page

SYSTEM THREE: OVER AND UNDERWING

System Three unloads transport trailers by pumping fuel into storage through the filter separator at a rate of 200 gpm. It also recirculates fuel from storage by pumping it through the filter separator and back to storage at 200 gpm. It refuels aircraft overwing at a flow rate up to 100 gpm through a Gammon SkyHawk nozzle. It also refuels aircraft underwing at up to 100 gpm through a 1 ½" x 80' hose and a Meggitt F116LV7D nozzle with dry break quick disconnect and hose-end pressure regulator set at 45 psi. This system includes:

▪ Motor rewind hose reel with manual crank rewind backup; 3-roller hose guide ▪ Aluminum fuel wetted parts downstream of the filter separator ▪ Meter ▪ Electric deadman model with U.L. listed intrinsically safe control and 50' cable reelGTP-1750 ▪ Interlock to allow overwing fueling without the use of a deadman handle ▪ Dual pressure control valve to allow two independent pressures for overwing and underwing fueling. ▪ For options, see next page

SYSTEM FOUR: HIGH FLOW OVER AND UNDERWING

System Four unloads transport trailers by pumping fuel into storage through the filter separator at a rate of 200 gpm. It also recirculates fuel from storage by pumping it through the filter separator and back to storage at 200 gpm. It refuels aircraft overwing at a flow rate up to 100 gpm through a Gammon SkyHawk nozzle. It also refuels aircraft underwing at 150-180 gpm through a 2" x 80' hose and a Meggitt F116LV7D nozzle with dry break quick disconnect and hose-end pressure regulator set at 45 psi. This system includes the same parts as System Three. For options, see next page.

PORTABLE REFUELER FOR REMOTE AREASHelicopters and light aircraft can be refueled in remote locations such as deserts, jungles, and swamps in total safety. Jet fuel and Avgas stored under the worst possible conditions can be supplied to aircraft without fear of water or dirt contamination.

The Gammon Portable Refueler can make these things possible. It clears dirt and water from jet fuel so effectively that you can put just about any jet fuel into an aircraft without worry.

The key item in the Gammon Portable Refueler is the Velcon AquaCon filter, which has been certified to stop dirt and water to the cleanliness requirements of the latest API-1581 specification. The AquaCon filter element is so effective that it automatically stops flow when saturated. Even if the flow is 100% water, none will reach the aircraft.
