MEN AND ABORTION : Reclaiming Father and Finding Peace
June 11-13 (Niagara Falls) You are invited to participate in Alliance for Life Ontarios 2015 Conference, the first of its kind in Canada to focus on the effect abortion has on men. Identifying issues in a post-abortive father and bringing resolution to them can bring peace into the hearts of these fathers and peace to the context of their lives. We can help our culture move toward wholeness by giving them healthy resources to ameliorate the impact an abortion has had on their lives. For more information, call Jakki Jeffs (519/824-7797) or visit www.

May 24, 2015 - Pentecost Sunday Many Parts, One Body
The disciples are filled with the Holy Spirit. Lord, send out your spirit and renew the
face of the earth. There are many gifts in the one body of
Christ. Jesus appears to the disciples, bestowing
peace and the Holy Spirit. As a background to Pentecost, Jesus told the disciples that if he failed to go, the Paraclete would never come to them, and that the Paraclete is the spirit of truth that comes from the Father. At Pentecost, a Catholic school teacher was explaining to her stu-dents these difficult teachings. One bright student was confused and
asked the teacher, If the Spirit descended like a dove, why did Jesus send a parakeet? --
Moses proclaims one God to the Israelites. Blessed the people the Lord has chosen.
All are heirs of God through the Spirit. Christ commissions the Eleven to make
disciples of all nations.

Thom-as Keating at this workshop presented by Contem-plative Outreach Ontario, July 25, 2015, Mt. Carmel Spiritual Centre, Niagara Falls, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost: $35 includes lunch. Please fill out a registration form.

Our Deepest Prayer We often fill our worship timepersonal and corpo-rateto the brim with talking, singing, reading, and reflecting. There is too little prayerful waiting in si-lence, when we can hear our voice connecting with the voice of the Holy Spirit in a place where our waiting connects with Gods waiting.
Campaign Pledge Cards/Payments Your response card is important to us. If you have-nt already done so, please be sure to complete a pledge card even if you are unable to financially support the fundraising campaign. Pledge cards are available at the church entrances. The efforts that we make together will contribute toward the mission of our Diocese and our Parish. Please remember to honour the pledge that you made and pray for a successful fundraising campaign. Thank you for your commitment to St. Helen.
