ST. JOSEPH'S - CONWAY, AR
Magnificat Ministry for Women – Arkansas now has another chapter of Magnificat. Magnificat is an international ministry to Catholic women inspired by the friendship between Mary and Elizabeth in which they found a common love of God and strength in telling their stories of His wonders in their lives and their gratitude. It is a time of shared faith, socializing and friendship with other women in a relaxed, prayerful atmosphere. Magnificat-Central Arkansas will be based in central Arkansas, but is appealing to women throughout the diocese to become involved and enjoy the fruits of serving the Lord in this ministry. Our first meal is scheduled for Saturday, September 28 and there are a variety of ways women can help. All ladies of the diocese are invited to attend the Ministries Planning Meeting on Wednesday, June 12, 7 p.m. This meeting will be in the Parish Office Meeting Room at St. Joseph’s Church in Conway. Some of the ways you can serve the Lord within this ministry to women include: greeters, table hostesses, music, prayer, table décor, PR and ticket sales. None of these tasks will require a lot of time, just a willingness to serve and be served. Join other women throughout the

Find schedules at the diocesan web site (www.dolr.org) “Marriage and Family” section, “NFP” link (phone: 501-664-0340). The methods of NFP reflect the dignity of the human person within the context of marriage and family life and promote openness to life and the value of the child. NFP classes are now required as part of marriage preparation for all couples in the Diocese, and already married couples are invited and welcome to register for a class series as well. NFP methods can help couples with infertility and women's health issues. Some of these moral methods have a higher success rate than InVitro Fertilization.
