February 2014 Session SummaryFebruary 2014 Session SummaryFebruary 2014 Session SummaryFebruary 2014 Session Summary————John Poole, Clerk of SessionJohn Poole, Clerk of SessionJohn Poole, Clerk of SessionJohn Poole, Clerk of Session Sheryl de Jong, Moderator of the Deacons, reported that the Annual Church Picnic has been scheduled for Sunday, March 30th on the church grounds. The Deacons will also host a Pancake Breakfast on Easter Sunday morning from 8:30—10:00 AM. There will be no Sunday School that day due to the time conflict. From the CE Committee, Frank Shannon reported that there will be a new Bible study class to be led by Melanie Nicholl on the first and third Wednesday of the month. The class will meet in the staff conference room from 6:00-8:00 PM and the curriculum if from the book Seated by Donna Gaines. The first class will meet on Wednesday, March 19th. Joe Spielman from the Trustees reported that the railings in front of the sanctuary have been welded and painted. We purchased 24 feet of wall panels that are on rollers and can fold up. We would like to have enough to complete a movable wall that would separate Galloway Hall into two rooms for the Great Banquet meetings. The CE Committee will donate the monies in the Fisherman’s Class fund to the Great Banquet to help with the purchase of these panels. The ushers will have a supply of the ACH Debit ACH Debit ACH Debit ACH Debit forms for anyone that would like to use that method of giving.
