CATAWBA “ANGEL” TREE All gifts must be turned in by TONIGHT. Also, if you have taken an Angel and not signed the poster with your name beside your angel, please do so. You may wrap the gift...but be sure to tape your “angel” on the box securely so the name

will not fall off...then place your gift under the tree. Any unwrapped gifts will be wrapped in the fellowship hall on Wednesday, December 11th at 6:30 pm. All

gifts will then be sorted and loaded. Please pray about this mission. Thank you for helping us keep Christ in CHRISTmas!

SUMMER YOUTH CASWELL 2014 We are planning our Summer Youth Caswell trip for 2014. We will be going

one of these 2 weeks: June 16th-21st or July 28th-August 2nd. This trip is for rising 7th graders and up. Please sign up on the sheet on the youth board if you

are planning to attend. Cost is approximately $250.00. You will need to sign up by Sunday, December 22nd.

MEETING WITH THE PASTOR TODAY This Sunday Pastor Matt would like to meet with all the Teachers & Assistants who help out with Sunday School Classes, Mission Groups and Sunday Evening Classes in the Children’s, Intermediate, & Youth Departments, along with the

Parents of children in the Children’s, Intermediate and Youth Departments. Pastor Matt will meet with you down in front of the sanctuary after the morning

service. Parents your children are welcome to join in on the meeting.

LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING This year our goal is $1,800.00. For each $50.00 collected, an ornament will be placed on the Christmas Tree. Please pray that we not just meet our goal...but

more importantly...we support the missionaries in many countries that risk their lives daily to spread the Word of God. They need our love, prayers and...financial support. You can give through Sunday, December 29th. Thank you in advance

for opening your hearts to missions! So far we have collected $241.00.

CHILDREN CHOIR PRACTICE TONIGHT Children’s Drama will practice at 5:00 pm and

Choir practice will be at 6:00-7:30 pm.

PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN’S MUSICAL Join us next Sunday, December 15th at 6:00 pm as our Preschool will sing and

our Children’s Choir will present The Mystery of the Manger. Please invited your family and friends to come.

CHRISTMAS FELLOWSHIP Make plans to stay after our Children’s Musical next Sunday, December 15th for

our annual Christmas Fellowship. Please bring some finger foods, desserts & drinks. We are expecting a large crowd so please bring extra food to

share. Everyone is invited to stay and fellowship. We are also in need of people to stay afterwards to help clean up.

LOVE OFFERING We are taking a Christmas Love Offering for Pastor Matt. You can give thru

next Sunday Morning, December 15th. Please remember to mark your envelopes love offering for Pastor Matt.

ACTEEN’S OUTING The Acteens will be going to the Billy Graham Library this Thursday,

December 12th. They will meet at the church at 4:30 pm. The cost is $10.00 which will cover their food and carriage ride. Please sign up on the sheet on the

youth board.

MISSION FRIENDS The Mission Friends will meet this Wednesday at 6:30 pm to go and see

Christmas Lights.

WEEKDAY PRESCHOOL This Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 pm our Weekday Preschool will have

their Christmas Program. All are invited to come and see the children.

ROGER’S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS PARTY This Friday at 6:30 pm Roger’s Sunday School Class will have their

Christmas Party in the fellowship hall.

CHILDREN’S & INTERMEDIATE REHEARSAL & PARTY This Saturday the Children’s & Intermediate Choir will have rehearsal and

Christmas Party from 6:00-9:00 pm. Dinner will be provided.

PERU INTERNATIONAL MISSION STUDY Thank you to all who came out and supported our International Mission Study last Sunday.

DEACONS CHRISTMAS DINNER All Deacons, their wives and widow’s of Deacons are invited to the Deacon

Christmas Dinner at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, December 17th at Lineberger’s Steakhouse. Please sign up on the list by the library if you will be going.

RA POST OFFICE The RA Post Office is up and running. This is a great way to send Christmas

Cards to our Church Family. All donations will go to the Lottie Moon offering.
