Psalm 130
R Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications!
If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could
stand? But there is forgiveness with you,
so that you may be revered. R I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;
my soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for
the morning, more than those who watch for the
morning.
O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is
steadfast love, with the Lord is great power to redeem.
It is the Lord who will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.
R
A cordial welcome is extended to our

Iona Announcements
Today we are pleased to welcome back to the pulpit,
Rev. Marie Goodyear, to lead us in worship.
Iona Friends
Your Search Committee has been blessed to have received
several applications from potential candidates for our new
minister. We have now reached the exciting stage of going out
to hear possible candidates preach at other churches, as we seek
God's guidance in this matter. Although this means that we will
miss our usual worship services at Iona on some upcoming
Sundays, we will be working on your behalf. Please keep us and
the candidates in your prayers, as we do our best to find the
person God has prepared for us.
Iona Irish Evening
Thank you to everyone who came out in support of our Irish
Night. A special thanks to everyone who worked on organizing,
setting up, serving, cleaning up and for the entertainment/sing-
a-long. The good food and good fellowship shared made for a
wonderful evening for all. We raised $797.00.

Mission Capsule
World Water Day
Access to clean water in Chimbonano village in southern
Malawi used to be a huge challenge. Community members
had to drink from unclean water sources or travel far
distances to access clean water. Flonnie Mpunga knows
how dangerous the situation was for her village.
Waterborne diseases were common and we spent a lot of
time nursing each other. We couldnt work hard in our
fields, so we experienced food shortages. But all that has
changed, thanks to a Presbyterian World Service &
Development program providing access to safe water by
digging boreholes and wells. Flonnie shares, Our lives have
improved. We no longer spend long hours fetching water. I
have enough time to prepare my field and take care of my
family. The well has improved my familys health, as well as
the health of the whole community.
PWS&D responds to provide clean water.
