When God asks us to put Him first, He doesn't do it to punish us, neither does He do it because He doesn't want to do us

good. He does it because He knows that pu�ng Him first will bring order and blessings into our lives. When God is not first, we struggle through life, instead of enjoying His rule, miracles and dominion. When He is number one in our lives, He makes us number one in life and enables us to be excep�onal in every area of life. God knows exactly what we need and He is able to take care of each and every one of them. What He expects of us therefore is to trust Him to take care of our needs and focus on pu�ng His work first and doing what He wants.

God wants us to seek His Kingdom first. He wants us to commit our lives to being Kingdom Builders. Who are Kingdom Builders? These are individuals who commit their lives to adding value to the kingdom. As believers that have been saved, delivered and healed by God,

we must make it a priority to add value to His work here on earth. It's not enough for us to just focus on receiving, we should also seek to give and add value to God's Work.

KINGDOM BUILDERS ARE:l People a�er God's heart. They seek to align their hearts with God's heart.l Soul winners. They eagerly work towards ensuring that other people also enjoy the eternal life they have received from God.l Commi�ed to strengthening and encouraging other people. This can be done via visita�ons and praying for them, instead of a�acking them when they

go wrong. We must commit to using our words to encourage other believers. God rewards all who put His work first.

SOME BENEFITS OF BEING A KINGDOM BUILDER INCLUDE:l You receive and enjoy the blessings of God. (Ma�hew 6:33)l You are protected and preserved. (Job 1:-8-10)l God spares you from danger. (Malachi 3:17-18)l You add great value to your life. (Isaiah 38:1-4)l You are honored by God. (1 Samuel 2:30)l God builds a legacy through you.Despite the benefits of being a Kingdom builder and the fact that God duly rewards all who put Him first, some people s�ll struggle to do so.

HERE ARE SOME REASONS WHY PEOPLE DON'T TO COMMIT TO KINGDOM BUILDING:l Selfishness and greed. You cannot put God's work

first when you put yourself first. A person who is self-absorbed cannot commit to building God's Kingdom.l Fear. Satan uses fear to trap us and keep us from doing God's will or giving our best for His Kingdom. But we must realize that Christ has defeated Satan and so fear has no power over us.l Unbelief. When we do not believe God's Word and promise to take care of us, we hold ourselves back from building His Kingdom.l Disobedience and rebellion. l Spirit of poverty. This causes people to focus on keeping their resources for themselves rather than give them away for any cause. It makes people selfish and s�ngy.

He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was s�ll in Galile
