Workplace Health & SafetyAll new Voight Contracting employees undertake a safety induction, including review of all relevant Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and continue to receive regular written communications, up-dates and directives regarding workplace safety. Staff are compliant with their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and wear company uniform.Voight Contracting operate within a safety system that is designed to also ensure compliance with on-site Workplace Health & Safety management systems.

Equipment MaintenanceAll staff must complete pre-start operational checks on their vehicles and equipment. Equipment is regularly serviced and maintained through our in-house maintenance personnel, along with external workshop servicing and repairs.

Staff TrainingWe are committed to staff training and development.

All staff are provided with ongoing training opportunities (internal and external) in line with continuous improvement.

Truck drivers undertake a Certificate III (Road Transport & Distribution) and Basic Fatigue Management accreditation.

Tractor Operators are provided with external training in to ensure Verification of Competency.

Accreditations and MembershipsWe are NCOP (National Code of Practice) Building Industry compliant.

The Company currently works under Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) & MASS Management which are part of the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS).

In addition, we are also a member of the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA) and a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA).

Administration InfrastructureWe have an in-house dedicated administration team that oversees all accounts, administration, safety, compliance and finance operations.

Management of human resources (recruitment, training, inductions, employee relations, workplace safety) is also managed in-house by our HR Manager who has over 20 years experience. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm or other hours as necessary.

InsurancesAll vehicles and equipment are comprehensively insured and the company has public liability insurance to $50M, and workers compensation is through WorkCover Queensland. We also have Goods in Transit Cover.
