Flying the nest
Sixth Form students have been preparing for
the next step
after they finish their A Level st
udies over the last term. They
have been busily tweaking and per
fecting their personal
statements and applications to Universit
y, are delighted that
25 students, over 70% of the co
hort, have successfully
submitted their applications, many of whom have already had
offers. We wish them all the best for their upcoming exams to
secure their chosen courses.

Bujutsu Star We are extremely proud to announce that Vavara Nicoloua was awarded the title of Student of the Year 2013 in her Karate: Bujitsu class. Vavara has attended the Junior and Senior Wednesday class at her local club now for four years and loves taking part in the sport. She has competed in inter-club competitions in previous years, but she is particularly proud of being awarded this this honour as she said there is some tough competition for the title.
‘Remarkable’ transformation at Coulsdon College say Ofsted
We are delighted that our partner Post-16 provider, now part of Reigate Coll
ege,
has recently received an extremely positive report from Ofsted. In particular the
inspectorate praises the "highly effective measures" that ensure excellent teaching
,
and the "assiduous monitoring" of students' progress. With regard to students’
results the report states “current indicators are that students’ results are
likely
to improve significantly this year.” This is great news for our Sixth Form stu-
dents who attend there as part of their Post 16 courses.
