• Review you construction budget• Confirm tower location and locate a qualified
tower crew to install your antenna• Determine where you will purchase
equipment• Order equipment- Get delivery dates!• Have a secure storage location for equipment
as it arrives
Mounting the antenna on a support pole will improve your coverage
<24" (61 cm) tower face: 12" (30.5 cm) min
24 - 60" (61 - 152 cm) tower face: 24" (61 cm) min
> 60" (152 cm) tower face: 36" (92 cm) min
Carefully wrap all connections with waterproofing tape carefully
following the instructions from the manufacturer.
Be sure to ground the transmission line properly to the tower in several
locations

• Use RG-6 cable to connect the antenna to the EAS receivers
• Properly ground your cable to a known ground. Consider using Polyphaser lightning protectors.
