In 2015, Building Homes for Heroes completed a tenth consecutive year of record-setting growth by gifting 28 homes, mortgage-free, and completing construction on 12 additional homes.

With growing support, we hope to help more veterans and families than ever before by gifting as many

as 36 homes in 2016 and 45 homes in 2017 for injured veterans, and while completing 10 home modifications per year.

The event comprises an exciting few days of fun-filled activities,

team-based competition and friendly spirit. Behind the activities

and agenda is a greater purpose: offering veterans the opportunity

to meet and share stories, receive information on the many

benefits offered to Florida veterans, and to further develop a

support system in an environment of joy and laughter. It is our

hope that the memories and camaraderie that develop between

veterans will last for many years to come.
