Pledging to invest $12M into the facility, Baldor invested $20M to create a state of the art, 200,000 square foot corporate headquarters Food Center Drive Hunts Point, New York 2006 Vertical dock plates were installed to achieve the following goals: Maximize efficiency of sanitation procedures Increase food safety Optimize environmental control Streamline loading process Reduce accidents and decrease damage to loading dock infrastructure 9 The floors were re-done to create a sophisticated waste removal system to enhance food safety and sanitation in our Fresh Cuts processing facility. 10 Baldor invested in top quality racking to maximize the ceiling height of the existing facility. All aisles were carefully labeled and their position planned to create a safe and efficient workflow to increase productivity and provide a safe work environment for our employees. 11 12 Baldors Fresh Cut processing facility was designed to optimize environmental control and maximize food safety and sanitation. 13 172,000 sq. ft. 200 trucks 756 employees 155 Food Center Drive Today Food Center Drive is backed up by a paralleling power solution from Generac Power Systems which provides multi- megawatt power from two generators in the case of an outage. 15 The warehouse is outfitted with high-speed, roll-up doors to create maximum door safety and optimize environmental control. 16 Baldor implemented a top-level environmental management system which enables users to monitor temperatures throughout the warehouse in one seamless interface.
