Why is PLMA’s “World of Private Label”so special? Because it is the placewhere thousands of retailers,wholesalers, importers and exportersconverge to meet experiencedmanufacturers who can produce theirprivate label lines. SHOWORGANISERSPLMA’s annual “World of Private Label”is organised by the Private LabelManufacturers Association. It is the onlyorganisation of its kind, representing morethan 4,000 member companies aroundthe globe. PLMA presented its first showin the United States in 1980 and its firstshow in Europe in 1986. Today, it providesservices to member manufacturers inmore than 75 countries. In addition to theannual trade shows in Europe and U.S.,PLMA also co-organises the ShanghaiPrivate Label Fair in China.

STANDASSIGNMENTSThe trade show floor is divided into foodand non-food halls. All stand assignmentsare based on a first-come, first-servedbasis in order of receipt of application and payment, product eligibility andavailability of space.

DECORATIONSANDFURNISHINGSA full range of exhibit furniture, fixtures,electrical power and other services can berented from the official contractors usingthe order forms that will be included inPLMA’s online Exhibitor Portal. Exhibitorsmay also use their own furnishings,provided they conform to trade showrules and safety and fire regulations.

OFFICIAL CATALOGUEAll PLMA exhibitors receive a free listingin the Official Trade Show Catalogueand digital Exhibitor Profiles. The listingincludes company name, address,telephone and fax number, e-mail,website, product lines and two exhibitorpersonnel contacts. Product descriptionsare published in English, French andGerman. Advertising space is availablefor exhibitors who wish to highlight andpromote their stand location or products.

ONLINE SHOWPREVIEWPLMA’s online Show Preview providescategory-by-category listings of exhibitorsand is made available to all registeredretail and wholesale visitors 30 daysprior to the show to help them identifyexhibitors that they want to visit. In theShow Preview, exhibitors can announcetheir new products, upload pictures andhighlight their standard company listingsby ordering online advertising space.PLMA regularly updates the online ShowPreview to include the latest additions andadjustments.

PRELIMINARY BUYERS LISTExhibitors receive a preliminary list ofbuyers 30 days prior to the show. The listincludes all pre-registered retailers andwholesalers so that companies canarrange appointments in advance.

SPECIAL SHOW INVITATIONSAll exhibitors receive a set ofcomplimentary show invitations to contactretailers, wholesalers and other businesspartners whom they wish to invite to theshow as their guests at no additional cost.

NEWPRODUCT EXPOPLMA also features exhibitors’ innovativeproducts and packaging in its annualNew Product Expo. Products selected are displayed in showcases in the PLMA Idea Supermarket during trade show hours.

EXHIBIT STANDSSingle and multi-unit stands are availableto accommodate the display needs ofall companies. Each exhibit unit measures3m x 3m. Stand prices include standardfascia, grey carpet and stand cleaning onboth show days. Exhibitors are separatedby white plastic laminate walls. All aislesare carpeted.
