Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology is run by Vidyapeeth Education Trust. The Institute is affiliated to

Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and approved by AICTE, Govt. of India. It is situated on NH-44 (Previously NH-1)

3. I certify that my son/daughter/ward is taking admission with my permission. I hold myself responsible for his/her good

1. Before filling the admission form, the candidate is required to read the prospectus and admission form carefully.

2. Self attested photo-copies of certificates/documents and pp size photographs must be attached with the admission

form.

3. Candidates having compartment in their qualifying examination shall not be allowed admission in any course.

4. Each admitted student shall have to furnish two affidavits (as per specimen given with the form from himself/herself

and his/her parents/guardian, declaring therein that he/she will never be found guilty of ragging and shall not indulge in

any act of ragging.

5. At the time of admission every candidate shall be required to give an undertaking of good conduct & behavior and not to

indulge in ragging. If a candidate after his/her admission is found indulging in any kind of ragging, his/her admission is

liable to be cancelled ab-initio.

6. If a student fails to attend his/her classes continuously for seven working days from the date of commencement of the

classes or from the date of admission, his/her admission shall automatically stand cancelled.

7. If any student gets accommodation allotted in his/her name in a hostel and allows some other person (s) to stay in

his/her allotted room and/or to take meals in the room, in that case, the admission of both the students, i.e. (i) the

allottee and (ii) the illegal occupant, shall be cancelled from the respective department as also from the hostel without

assigning any reason.

8. Use of alcohol / drugs / intoxicants & smoking is strictly prohibited on the PIET campus.

9. Any legal dispute relating to admission or other matter of the students will be subject to the jurisdiction of Courts at

Samalkha sub divisions or Courts having jurisdiction in Panipat.

10. Due to paucity of hostel accommodation, the institute may not be in a position to accommodate all the aspirants in the

hostel and the students will have to make their own arrangement of stay outside the campus.

11. Weekly attendance report of all students will be put on the institute website. If a student remains continuously absent

from the class for seven working days in a month his/her name will be struck off auomatically from the rolls of the

institute and his/her parents will also be informed.

12. Use of electrical gadgets/appliances is totally prohibited in the hostel. If detected, violating this rule, the

gadget/appliance will be confiscated and appropriate fine will be levied.

13. If a candidate is willing to leave the institute after completion of first semester, the fees deposited by him/her for the

next semester will not be refunded in any case.

14. If a candidate who has been allotted accommodation in hostel and is desirous to withdraw hostel facility during the

course, already paid the hostel charges will not be refunded.

15. Student who opted for transport facility/hostel facility will have to pay annual charges at the time of admission. In case

any student wants to change the hostel facility to transport facility and vice-versa the difference of charges will be paid

by the student alongwith the shifting charges subject to availability of seat.

16. Students of 18 years of age or above must fill up an electoral form for the issuance of a Voter identity card from Election

Commission of India. Those in possession of such an identity must append a copy of the same.

17. No exit from the campus is permitted without approved ‘gate pass’ during working hours.

18. Entry of outsiders without permission is prohibited.

The following may constitute a part and parcel of ragging:

1. Addressing a colleague student as ‘SIR’ in a sarcastic manner.

2. Making juniors to forcefully sing a song, run in the ground, abuse other colleague etc.

3. Forcing the junior colleague to serve snacks or meals under duress.

5. Forcefully asking the junior colleague to obey the command of the seniors.

6. To pose as a Joker amongst the gathering of the colleagues.

7. Behaviourial attitude towards junior forcing him/her abandoning classes, studies or stopping him/her from taking

meals.

8. To harass or cut jokes under duress.

9. Any other abnormality taking away the liberty of any student can be termed as an act of RAGGING.

Stringent action can be taken including filing of Criminal Cases against the errant students.

RAGGING IS AN EVIL EQUATED BY THE HON’BLE SUPEREME COURT TO A CRIMINAL ACT. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS MENANCE

AND AVOID KEEPING INVOLVED INTO ANY CRIMINAL OFFENCE OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE IN TROUBLE.

The following rules will be followed by all male/female students. Violation of these rules will make the students liable for disciplinary

action including expulsion from the Institute. The same rules shall apply to all the female students with modifications as indicated.

1. Consumption of Liquor including beer, gutkha, intoxicants etc. and smoking are strictly prohibited in the institute vehicle.

2. A Student who once opts for transport facility shall have to continue the same throughout the year. He/She is required to pay the

transport charges for the full academic session. The amount will be forfeited if the student decides to leave the transport facility at

any time during the academic session.

3. Students are not allowed to use crackers, colors etc. in the bus.

4. The Institute shall not be responsible for any mishap while travelling in the Institute vehicles.

5 . Students are required to carry their Transport I-card issued by the Institute on all the days while they are travelling in the institute

vehicle and produce the same whenever demanded by the bus incharge or other authorities.

6. Students are advised not to indulge in any mischievous activities while travelling in the Institute's bus as they are under CCTV

surveillance.

Terms & conditions:

1. That I shall not leave the transport facility during the academic session. In case I leave the transport facility during the academic

session, I shall pay the transport fee for the whole year and shall not have any claim for refund.

2. I shall maintain the discipline in all respects while travelling in institute vehicle. In case I indulge in any indisciplinary act during my

travel by institute vehicle, my transport facility may be withdrawn and I shall not have any claim for refund.

Instructions Regarding FeeEach Student is required to pay the fee reqularly as per schedule given below:

1. If any student fail to deposit the payment of fee as per the schedule notified by the Institute from time to time, he/she shall be

OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, payable at PANIPAT OR SAMALKHA or can be deposited through CASH in HDFC Samalkha

branch in Account No. 50100088300896 of Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology. Cash will not be accepted at the

institute counter.

3. Fee can be deposited through Net Banking/ NEFT/RTGS in Bank of India, Mid-Corporate Branch Panipat A/c No. 67532011 00 00 00 6,

IFSC Code BKID0006753. Students are advised to submit the copy of counterfoil in the Account Section of the Institute after

transfer of the amount.

4. Fee can be deposited through Paytm also. To deposit the fee through paytm- open Paytm site or app,-click on fee, select city as

Panipat,- put up Institute’s Name i.e. PIET College,- put up Roll No.,-put up amount,-proceed to payment through Netbanking

/Debit/Credit card .
