Circle of Safety

Each year many children are injured when they fall or step into a campfire. A four foot protected area or Circle of Safety

can prevent many of these burn injuries.

Use a stick to draw a circle around your campfire, leaving four feet in each direction.

Talk to your children about the purpose of the circle.

Do not allow your children in the area protected by the Circle of Safety.
