• Proposed to extend the scheme for Assistance to Disabled Persons forpurchase/fitting of Aids and Appliances (ADIP) to include contemporaryaids and assistive devices

• Proposed assistance to State Governments for establishment of fifteennew Braille Presses and modernization of ten existing Braille Presses

• Exempt tax for micro-health insurance schemes, or schemes withcoverage amount of less than INR 50,000 per person, from service tax
