How people use IT – individually and in business.

Provides a solid understanding of why IT is so important
within and beyond business.
Unit 2: Management Information Systems [Practical]
Businesses NEED IT to make their company run – FACT.
You will produce a database system to support a business.
Provides an understanding how businesses use IT to
manage information. E.g. Tesco Club Card, Asos Clothes

Know good web design principles for effective websites.
Design and build a website for a business using HTML

How they use social media (which platform(s), example
uses).
Discussion of impact (does their website / social media
work? If not why? What would you do differently?)
