Aaccess the fuse panel for various
interior accessories. Some of these
are true ignition; which ones exactly
may vary between models, so use a
DMM to verify.
- Open up the glove compartment
in the middle of the dash.
- Remove the tray liner (clips)
- Test fuses, and remove related
banks. (Two T10 screws for each
bank)
- Ground on painted chassis
- Mount on wooden surface to the
right (This is just a trash can)
DO NOT TOUCH ANY WIRES
THAT EVER SHOW ANY
VOLTAGES BETWEEN 0.1V-5V.
There is a very elaborate
computer system, and almost
every wire in the vehicle is
used for diagnostics and
communication based on
resistances and voltage. Even
the slightest draw could cost
upwards of $10k in damages.
The area shown in the
pictures is safe, and is 24V. If
12V is needed, it can be
found in the exterior
compartment under the
driver seat - on a fuse panel
mounted towards the rear of
the vehicle (the furthest right
thing, if you are looking at it).
