Conditions of Entry: Bitter & Twisted is a fully licensed event and subject to applicable licensing laws. No BYO food, drink or glass permitted. Security and RSA Marshalls will be in operation for the duration of the festival and it is a condition of entry that all bags will be checked before entering the festival site. The following items are prohibited: illegal weapons, alcohol, illicit drugs, open drinks, flammable materials and aerosol cans. Residents living within the designated free zone need to provide photo identification with their address to gain entry to the site. Persons must be respectful of neighbours during and when leaving the event. Valid wristbands must be worn at all times whilst within the festival site. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. If unaccompanied they will be refused entry to the site. In the event of an emergency, patrons must follow the instruction of authorised and emergency services personnel. Organisers have the right to remove any persons not adhering to licensing regulations including age restrictions and intoxication. Failure to comply with any conditions of entry will result in the removal of offending persons. All attendees accept on entry that any photography or videography taken during the festival is considered to be rights free and may be used for the purpose of promotional, archival and media opportunities. No commercial photography, filming or recording is permitted without prior permission from Maitland Events. This program has been prepared by Maitland Events from information available as at 17.10.2019. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information herein however Maitland Events accepts no responsibility for any consequences resulting from misdescription or inadvertent errors. Watch out for a number of Bitter & Twisted volunteers who will be wandering throughout the site selling tokens (cash sales only). If you can’t see one close by you can also buy tokens from the official festival merchandise stall (cash and EFTPOS facilities available). Unused tokens At the end of the festival, tokens that you haven’t used cannot be redeemed for cash. We suggest purchasing tokens in smaller quantities if you are unsure of how many you will use. Cash / Eftpos There is limited opportunity to use cash and EFTPOS. It is valid currency for general stalls and official festival merchandise. No cash out on site. Stop by A-wing on Saturday, and after a crash course through the beer making process, flavour and feel identification, you’ll be given the chance to test your palate through blind tastings whilst voting for your favourite brew from the five samples. On Sunday join in on the beer style evaluation and discussions. MEET THE BREWER Head to the Tract Cells to take part in one of the Meet the Brewer sessions. Hear from the experts about their dedication and passion behind crafting one of their unique brews. A timetable of available sessions will be located outside the cells. LOCATION: Shower block TIMES: 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 30 minute sessions COST: Three tokens beer and chocolate + beer and cheese Join the Beer Diva, Kirrily Waldhorn for a Beer and Chocolate or Beer and Cheese matching session over the weekend. Each session will feature four pairings of beer with chocolate or cheese.
